Songkran Festival @ Bangkok 13-15 Apr 09
The annual Songkran festival (Thai New Year) is around the corner, from 13 April to 15 April. One of the ways to celebrate this festival is by “throwing water”. Visitors and residents of Bangkok get soaked in this festival by immersing in the festive mood. However, water splashing in the business district will be discouraged.
This year, the festival gets underway on 12 Apr 09, with a sound and light show at Arun Ratchawararam Temple, from 6pm-9pm.
