The 1st Asian Martial Arts Games 2009 will be hosted by Thailand in Bangkok and the Suphan Buri province.

The types of martial arts included in this event are Kickboxing, Wushu, Muay, Kungfu, Kurash, Pencat Silat, Kaliripattu and many others. This event will see participation from about 45 countries.
